Who is 3Beam?
We are an imaging service provider to dentists, maxillofacial and ENT surgeons. We believe everyone should have access to the best medical imaging to support accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
We are led by a partnership of experienced professionals who are passionate about healthcare, with a strong focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes and a seamless, user-friendly experience for referrers. Our leadership team includes UK-trained clinicians and allied healthcare professionals.
In addition to our core dental and maxillofacial imaging services, we also offer advanced body composition and bone health assessments through our DEXA London service, supporting both preventative health and clinical decision-making.

The founder at 3Beam, Dr Emil is medically trained having practiced at various London NHS hospitals (Chelsea and Westminster, UCLH, Ealing Hospital) and an entrepreneur at heart, who previously advised pharmaceutical/biotech companies on strategy as part of IQVIA.
Alongside 3Beam, he also founded CutKilo, an innovative telehealth service helping patients achieve sustainable weight loss through doctor-supervised treatment and lifestyle support.
Passionate about delivering high quality care, Dr Emil read medicine at King’s College London and holds an MBA from Imperial College London.
Ashir Patel
Operations Manager
Ashir holds a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography from the University of Hertfordshire and has extensive experience within the NHS. He further developed his expertise through advanced image interpretation training, completing a PG Diploma in Radiographic Appendicular Reporting at the University of Hertfordshire.
After 18 years in the NHS, he recognised the growing demand for cross-sectional imaging and the limited competition within the private sector, which led him to pursue the development of a business focused on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).

Dr Ciro Gilvetti

Specialist Oral Surgeon, Clinical Advisory Board Member
Ciro is a seasoned specialist oral surgeon with special interest in complex oral surgery procedures and oral medicine, including difficult extractions, dental implants, oral biopsies, bone augmentation procedures, and diagnosis and management of infective, premalignant and immunological oral diseases. Ciro works at the renowned Queen Victoria Hospital as Associate Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and teaches at master level at the University College London and at the College of Medicine and Dentistry in Birmingham. He has published peer reviewed articles on various topics in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine and has lectured both nationally and internationally.

Alireza (Ali) Samani
Dental Radiographer / Nominated Individual
With 15 years of practice as a dental radiographer, team leader and Deputy Superintendent at the renowned Guy’s Hospital, London - Alireza Samani brings a wide breadth of experience in the dental imaging field. Alireza’s skills in the provision of dental radiography services are highly sought after.
Ali is highly proficient with Planmeca and Morita CBCT machines and holds a BSc in Radiography from the prestigious City University of London.
Consultant Dental Radiologist
Lee is specialist in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology and works as a Consultant Dental and Maxillofacial Radiologist at Kings College Hospital, London and at the Eastman Dental Hospital, University College London Hospitals. He is currently the Honorary Secretary of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology and sits on the council of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging.
He is passionate about education and holds a formal qualification in learning and teaching in higher education. In his previous role as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool he was responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate radiology teaching and assessment. He continues to lecture regularly to postgraduate dental professionals. He has recently also taken up an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer role at Kings College London where he will be leading the undergraduate BDS teaching in Dental Radiology.
Consultant Dental Radiologist
Dr Bhagy Batchu is a UK registered Specialist in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology and has been working as a Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London since 2014. She graduated BDS in 2000 from India and completed UK Statutory Exam in 2007. She has special interests in reporting CBCT scans, performing ultrasound scans and ultrasound guided interventions. She is highly regarded for her clinical knowledge, reporting skills and has been an invited speaker at various regional, national and international meetings. She is a guest lecturer for the MSc Implantology programme at University of Bristol since 2017. She is currently one of the Trustees of the BSDMFR and was also the past Honorary Secretary of BSDMFR. She was the Guest Editor for the Primary Dental Journal Spring 2018 Edition on Dental Radiography. Above all her achievements and commitments, Bhagy absolutely loves spending time with her children, cooking and gardening.
Consultant Head & Neck Radiologist
Dr Mandy Williams is a Consultant Head and Neck and Neuroradiologist with over 15 years of experience. She has a strong clinical focus on complex diagnostic imaging, with particular expertise in head and neck cancer imaging and orbital radiology.
She had undertaken specialist Radiology training across the South Wales and Severn regions, developing a broad and comprehensive foundation in diagnostic imaging.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Williams has held a number of senior leadership and educational roles. She previously served as Training Programme Director in the Severn region and is currently Clinical Director for Radiology at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
At 3Beam, Dr Williams reports all ENT CBCT scans, bringing specialist expertise and detailed interpretation to our ENT scans.
